Be Prepared for New Voting Procedures, Nov 3, 2020
1st Change: Vote-by-Mail
Every registered voter will receive a Vote-by-Mail ballot. Read the instructions carefully. Your ballot and its envelope are distinctly yours. It is your responsibility to keep it secure until you fill it out and return it.
2nd Change: How to vote in Person
The Yolo County Republican Party recommends this voting method for ballot safety and quicker counting of ballots on election day. HOWEVER, There will be NO traditional precinct locations for voting on Nov 3. But for traditional voting there will be:

3rd Change: Delivery of completed Vote-by-Mail Ballots
If you elect to vote using the Vote-by-Mail ballot... Here are the four options for returning Vote-by-Mail ballots.
A. Bring it in person, completed, signed, and sealed, to a Ballot Drop-Off Box (see below) or to The Yolo Elections Office at 625 Court St in Woodland by 8 pm on Nov 3.
B. Bring your completed, signed, and sealed ballot to a Voter Assistance Center (see times and locations above).
C. Use the USPS to mail your completed, signed, stamped and sealed ballot. It must be postmarked on or before Nov 3.
D. Authorize someone to return your ballot for you if, for example, you are not able to leave home or will be out of town. Follow instructions on the Vote-by-Mail ballot. Be sure to include your signature on the ballot envelope. Authorize someone you know and trust to return your ballot.
